Candidates who are granted a UK visa will be sponsored by an approved Home Care employer. The Migrant Worker Visa is a long-term visa that gives the overseas worker the right to work for at least three (3) to five (5) years with the Sponsored Employer.
HWRI specializes in recruiting migrant workers for Home Care Agencies to work as Care Worker or Senior Care Workers .
HWRI does not offer job opportunities for Registered or Licensed Nurse Practitioners. A registered nurse who wants an opportunity to work in the United Kingdom, may apply under this scheme and be granted a visa to work in the UK only for domiciliary care, as a home care worker or senior home care worker.
A nursing license is not required to meet the criteria for obtaining a visa to work as a Home Care Worker or Senior Home Care Worker in the UK.
Though other organizations operating under the United Kingdom Visa & Immigration (UKVI) migrant worker sponsorship program may recruit registered nurses and other health providers, HWRI recruitment services is only for Domiciliary care.
A successful migrant worker recruited by HWRI will be assigned to a sponsor who will issue a certificate of sponsorship (COS) to enable the migrant worker to apply for a visa in their home country.
Once the prospective employer assigns the COS, you have 3 months after the COS is issued to submit your visa application after which time the COS will expire.
HWRI will provide support services for submitting your visa application to the British Embassy in your home country.
Assigning a CoS does not guarantee a worker will be granted entry clearance or permission – they must meet all of the immigration requirements of the route on which they are applying.
Once a visa is granted, a visa holder under this scheme can only work for the organization that sponsored the visa application for a specified period of time. A violation of this clause may lead to the cancellation of the visa.
HWRI is an independent recruiting agency and is not affiliated to any migrant worker sponsor in the UK.
